This platform/tool enhances students' learning by providing students with a headquarters for their coursework and instructional materials.
User Engagement: Students engage with Google Classroom by obtaining assignments, submitting work, looking at materials, and participating in online-class discussions. This platform allows and supports multimedia, including documents, videos, and links, which help foster a diverse learning environment and experience. Teachers use Google Classroom to manage class work, materials, provide feedback, and track students' progress. Parents can use Google Classroom to receive updates on their child's assignments through guardian email summaries.
Influence on Communication: Google Classroom enhances communication within education by providing an organized and structured platform for the teacher-student relationship. Google Classroom allows teachers to post announcements, respond to students' questions, and facilitate class discussions. Students can work together through commenting and shared documents, which also promotes peer-to-peer learning. Hi Christina, I enjoyed learning about Classdojo and how you use it in your classroom. This seems like an interesting tool for teachers to use. I agree with your concerns that students may feel pressured to behave well as a result of the point system. I also think that parents having access at all times is a little concerning as well because parents may abuse this power and watch it all day and maybe even text their kid while in class if a teacher in middle or high school uses it. It seems like a useful tool on a case by case basis and seems like it can lead to parental overreach in the classroom.

This is the first time I have ever heard of Class Dojo but I think that is an amazing tool to use as an educator, especially with real-time feedback for students work in class. Really amazing breakdown on both platforms, and I am excited to learn more about Class Dojo!
